Texture texture texture!

I love textured polishes. I'm sure some of this has to do with how they hide mistakes. Hey, I'm still learning. And I am super lazy about clean up...so this all helps ;)

I purchased some OPIs at TJ Maxx. Included was the gorgeous purple "Can't Let Go." The accent here is from the Mariah Carey collection.  I love the sparkle and the texture of these polishes.

I also used the texture from the Mariah Carey collection with another mani. This was actually my second time ever doing flowers. I used Love Song and the new Carrie Underwood OPI Good Bye Shoes.  I love Nicole by OPI. The formula is almost always good for me, and goes on nice in two coats.

Oh man I got behind.

Life was a little crazy the last few weeks. And I am completely behind in posting manis! I feel bad. It's like when I was in grade school, and I was soooo going to keep a diary.  I'd be able to look back when I was adult and chuckle at my cute little "problems." Except I always either stopped doing it, or tore the pages out and tossed them once a week. Haha.

So, let's do some catching up. On Valentine's day my sweet husband surprised me with a storage solution for my polish. Unfortunately, as he organized (he had issues and had it all organized and waiting for me), he counted the polishes. Eek. I had gone from 2 polishes to over 100 in a couple months time.

On my next manicure I used Polish Addict Nail color Something Blue, with an OPI liquid sand as accent. The colors are gorgeous. But I find I need to get use to jelly/crelly polishes. I have issues applying them properly.

Of course, this mani was GORGEOUS to my 3 year old daughter. My husband helped her get her own version using piggy paints. He said he's so good at it from years of painting miniatures. Ah, life of a geek.
